For many years guests who have stayed with us in the Sacred Valley Inn - Pokhara
have asked us to recommend a Kathmandu hotel of similar standard and price.
Well, great news! Since the end of October 2009 it is possible for us to do just that,
as we have now opened our new hotel - Sacred Valley Inn, Kathmandu
What we really hope from this new venture is that people will find the hotel to be a
warm, inviting place to stay and that it will offer sanctuary and peace from the busy streets of Kathmandu.
The Sacred Valley Inn, Kathmandu, is located on a lane in Thamel in an area known as Jyatha.
The lane is a quieter option yet it is still in central Thamel and close to all the restaurants and shops.
The hotel has 24 rooms contained in one building that has a new wing added on to an older building.
All the rooms are either brand new or completely renovated and are decorated in a simple yet
comfortable style. The rooms all have attached bathrooms and some will have TVs.
There is a restaurant on the rooftop where guests can sit either inside or outside and enjoy
the views of the surrounding hills.
On the ground floor there is a comfortable lounge
with a book and DVD library.
Free WIFI is available at all times and the hotel
has a free internet area with a computer for the use of our guests.
